Public Records Request

In Florida, state and local governmental agencies must, by law, provide access to public records as defined in F.S.119.011(12) upon request. Once a request for public records has been received, an estimate of applicable charges will be provided. Fees for duplicating public records will be adhered to according to the St. Johns County Property Appraiser’s fee schedule and the rules set forth by F.S.119.07(4). Fees will be applied to the first half hour of service provided and calculated forward. All charges must be paid for prior to the fulfillment of a public records request. We do not accept credit cards.

Public Records Requests may be submitted using the following form. Alternatively, you may mail your completed Public Records Request Form to our office or send as an email attachment to publicrecords@sjcpa.gov. Please contact Loren Humphrey at (904) 827-5541 for more information or to submit your request over the phone.

Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
