The St. Johns County Property Appraiser’s Office has launched a new and enhanced online application that provides St. Johns County homeowners with the opportunity to quickly and efficiently file for exemptions, including homestead, widow(er) and portability. The new application is submitted through a secure online portal and provides homeowners with step-by-step assistance and continual communication during the process. The new application also provides a quick approval turnaround for complete and valid applications, often within one business day. The application can be found on the website at www.sjcpa.gov/exemptions.

Our Drone Operations team visited the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum to obtain aerial photography of the property. This is the first of many flights to come, and we are excited about the future of our drone program and the benefits of this program to our office as well as our community. We are happy to be of service to one of our premier local attractions and to gain some valuable training time in the process.
